What personal data VidyaMath collects, why, how it is protected, and the choices and rights you have.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data VidyaMath collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the platform, and we never sell your data.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, and — if you give it — your phone number and username. Your password is stored in an encrypted form that nobody can read.
  • Registrations: the sessions you register for, the details you enter when registering, the payment status of paid sessions, and coupons you use.
  • Messages: what you send us by email.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and similar technical information, used to keep the platform working and to improve it.

2. How we use it

  • to create and manage your account, and to confirm your email address;
  • to register you for sessions and send you what you need to join them;
  • to answer your messages and give support;
  • to keep the platform secure and prevent misuse;
  • to understand, in general terms, how the platform is used, so we can improve it.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember your choices. We may use an analytics service that sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are popular. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only:

  • with service providers who help us run the platform (such as hosting and email), and only for that purpose;
  • with the teacher or host of a session you register for, when needed to run it;
  • when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.

6. Security

We protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections and passwords stored in encrypted form. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password of your own.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to us. You can change most account details yourself on your profile page.

8. Children

If you are under 18, please use VidyaMath with the permission of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For privacy questions or requests, write to vidyamath.ins@gmail.com.
